This Indenture  Made this seventeenth day of October one thousand Eight
Hundred 7 twelve Witnesseth that John Mitchell and Susannah his wife, both of
the county of Harrison in the State of Virginia hath Granted bargained Hold by
their oresents doth Grant bargain and sell unto Edmund Wyatt of the county of
Randolph stated aforesaid for the consideration of one hundred Sixty six
dollars and 50 cents the receipt whereof is hereby acknowledged, a certain
tract of land being lying in the County of Randolph State of Virginia, bounded
as followith to wit: Beginning at a cherry & iron wood on Jacob Shooks line
wit the ...52 poles to a Sugar patch N68 to a chestnut and a maple 90 poles to
the beginning with its appurtenances to the Wiat his heirs & from the Mitchell
& his wife their heirs forever and for the use & behoof of the said Wiat his
heirs forever we do hereby these lands confer to their hers forever and from
us & our heirs & every other person shall 7 will forever .......and defend.
