DB 7 p 477 Henry SWITZER to George SWITZER Newport Perry County, Pennsylvania June the 13th 1840. Know all men by these presance that I Henry SWITZER of the town of New Port & State aforesaid have bargained & sold unto Rev. George SWITZER of Pennsylvania all my rite, title & claim to 3250 acres of land lying and being in the Countyes of Wood & Lewis Stait of Virginia, for the sum of $263 Dollar in hand paid this date above written. They conditions of this sail are such that if the said George SWITZER can make more forthe land the said SWITZER agrees to pay the said Henry SWITZER the overplus reasonable expences excepted & the Henry SWITZER on his part in case the land should fail in bring worth that amount of money to the Rev. Geo. SWITZER to refund the money recd. In testimony whereof I hereunto set my name & affixed my seal this 13th day of June, 1840. Henry Switzer (seal) West Virginia, ss.
