First, I give and bequeath to my eldest daughter Zella, one gray mare, at Seventy-five dollars and two head of cattle and six head of sheep: valued at thirty dollars, and household and kitchen furniture valued at thirty seven dollars: this was given to her when she was married. Second: I give and bequeath to second daughter Sarah Ann one bay mare valued at seventy-five dollars and two head of cattle and six head of sheep, valued at thirty-two dollars, and household and kitchen furniture valued at thirty-seven dollars of which was given to her when she was married. Thirdly: I give and bequeath to my eldest son Lemuel one hundred and twenty four acres of land valued at three hundred and seventy-five dollars, one grey mare valued at seventy-five dollars, two head of cattle, and six head of sheep valued at thirty-two dollars and bed and bedding, valued at thirty-two dollars, all of which was delivered to him when he was married. Fourthly: I give and bequeath to Nathan my second son one horse at seventy-five dollars, two head of cattle and six head of sheep valued at thirty-two dollars, and bed and bedding valued at thirty-two dollars and twenty four acres of land valued at one hundred dollars all of which property was given to him when he was married. Fifthly: I give and bequeath to my third son Barnes, one hundred and twenty four acres of land at three hundred and seventy five dollars, one horse at seventy-five dollars, two head of cattle and six sheep valued at thirty-two dollars and one bed and bedding valued at thirty-two dollars all of which property was delivered to him when he was married. Sixthly: I give and bequeath to my third daughter Mary Sharlety Morehead one two year old horse valued at seventy-five dollars two head of cattle and six head of sheep valued at forty dollars, and a household and kitchen furniture valued at thirty seven dollars, all of which property was delivered to her when she left home. Seventhly: I give and bequeath to my present wife Ruhama Smith and my heirs by her, all my real and personal property, and what money I may have at the time of my death. In testimony whereof I the said Levi Smith have to this my last will and testament signed my name this fifteenth day of February in the year of our Lord Christ one thousand eight hundred and seventy.
