Ryan considering the uncertainty of this mortal life and being of sound mind and memory do make and publish this my last will and testament in manner and form following that is to say, first, I give and bequeath unto my beloved wife Dinah all my estate both personal and real estate in Roane Co., WV. Further it is my will and I do order that the said Dinah my beloved wife collect all the money that is due me either by bond or account and further I order that the said Dinah my beloved wife pay all my just debts and if there should be a deficiency of money to discharge all my debts I do order that the said Dinah my beloved wife sell at private sale such property as she may think best until she has discharged such claims, Further it is my will and I do order that the said Dinah my beloved wife make and acknowledge a deed with covenants of general warranty to any lands which I have sold prior to my death for which I have not made a deed and lastly I do will and order that the said Dinah my beloved wife have and hold the above named estate during her natural life and at her death I do will and order that all the above named estate be equally divided among all my children. I do forbid the appraisement of any of the above mentioned property. In witness whereof I have hereunto set my hand and seal this 5th day of October 1864. John A. Spahn, wits. James R. Ryan, deceased was produced before me and was proven by the signed witness thereto who was duly summoned by me and on motion of Dinah Ryan one of the heirs therein named the same is admitted to probate and duly entitled to record.
