Hinton News, Feb. 20, 1990
Myrtle Ivy Biars, 98, died Feb. 10, 1990, at a Marlington hospital after a long
illness. She was formerly of Powleys Creek. Mrs. Biars was born Oct. 18, 1891,
in Raleigh County, a daughter of Landford and Millicent Bragg. Her husband was
August Biars, who died Oct. 16, 1971. Burial was in the Valley View Cemetery at
Powleys Creek.
