Hinton Daily News, 12 May 1902
Mrs. Ollie Mann, wife of Allen Mann, died at her home near Pack’s Ferry this
morning at an early hour. Leaves husband and two children. Was 23 years of age
and died of consumption.

Additional Comments:
Transcription by Pauline Haga. According to Mrs. Mann’s West Virginia death
record, her birth name was Ollie E. Bird and she was a daughter of Moses and
Hannah Bird. Mrs. Mann was 22 when she died 12 May 1902. (West Virginia Vital

She was buried in Vermillion Cemetery, Athens, W.Va. Find A Grave Memorial#
50097594. It looks like her tombstone says she was the daughter of W.H. and
Hester Bird.
