Updated Oct 09, 2006, June 16, 2012. Lowgap Cemetery, Hacker Valley, Webster County, West Virginia This cemetery is located in the Hacker Valley district in Webster County, West Virginia. Turn onto Rt. 3, in Hacker Valley then go approx. 6 - 6 1/2 miles down to a place in the road where rocks hang over the road, (can not miss). Turn left on dirt road and go down along the river approx. 3 miles to a cement bridge; the bridge is just past scenic Mollohan Mill. Go approx. 1 mile and the cemetery is located on the left of the road. I obtained this information by copying the inscriptions on the monuments, in the month of Aug. 2001. There are at least 42 fieldstones marking graves with no name on them. The names listed are all that could be read. The cemetery is well-kept and still accepting burials.
