Mrs. Feldmeier was born on July 27, 1911, in Grafton, W.Va. She was the daughter of the late Clarence M. and Grace Snider Garrett. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her first husband of 30 years, Arthur N. Davidson; four sisters Alma Henderson, Maude Lantz, Beatrice Samworth and Gladys Kincaid; and brothers Brooks Garrett and Clarence M. Garrett Jr. Mrs. Feldmeier was a graduate of then-Marshall College in Huntington, W.Va. She received a master of science degree in Library Science from Florida State University Graduate School in Tallahassee, Fla. She did substitute teaching in the Paden City school system and taught full time at Sistersville High School until 1964. From 1964-69, she served as assistant librarian at West Liberty State College in West Virginia. From 1970-72, she was the regional public library director for Moundsville, W.Va., and four other libraries. She was active in many church, choral, civic organizations and service clubs throughout her lifetime. Mrs. Feldmeier is survived by her husband of 31 years, Paul Feldmeier Sr. of Paden City; daughter Elisabeth D. (Delbert) Kimbler of Clemson, S.C.; sons Dr. Charles N. (Nita) Davidson of Mason Neck, Va., and retired U.S. Navy Capt. Michael A. Davidson of Sierra Vista, Ariz.; stepdaughter Mary Ann (Paul) Belair of Louisa, Va.; stepsons Robert (Margaret) Feldmeier, Paul (Mary) Feldmeier Jr. and Mark (Michele) Feldmeier, all of Paden City; brother-in-law C. Raymond Davidson of New Martinsville, W.Va.; and many nieces, nephews, grandchildren and great- grandchildren. Services were held in Paden City, West Virginia.
