Obituary for Martha Virginia Morgan (b. Sep 23, 1862; d. Dec 28, 1936)

Martha Virginia Morgan died December 28, 1936 at her home in Pine Grove at age
74 years, 3 months, and 5 days. She died from burns that was followed by a
stroke. Daughter of S. G. West and Hulda Lowe and wife of F. F. Morgan who is
living at the age of 88.

She is survived by one son and five daughters besides her husband. Thomas Lee
Morgan of Glendale, Calif.; Pearl Galvin of Glendale, Calif.; Vashti Hall, of
Tulsa, Okla; Liss Frances of New Martinsville; Georgia Clancy of Huntington
Beach, Calif.; and Gladys Jolliffe of Glendale, Calif. A sister, Mrs. J. A.
Lantz of Pine Grove and a brother, J. L. West of Chanute, Kansas. Preceded in
death by a daughter Cardelia Dulaney who died November 11, 1945 at age 45.;
Donley Frank Morgan who died October 17, 1918 at age 28; and Jesse G. Morgan who
died March 1, 1889 at age 20 days.

She was a member of the Methodist Church since the age of 13 and a charter
member of the Ladies Aid Society.
