came Mary A. Peirsoll, and acknowledged the signing and sealing of the foregoing Power of Attorney, for the purposes 
therein expressed. Witness my hand and the seal of the Circuit Court, the day and year aforesaid.

I have the honor to acknowledge the receipt from your Office of application for Pension No. 135.718, and to return it 
herewith such information as is furnished by the files of this Office.

It appears, from the Rolls on file in this Office, 
that Jacob Piersoll was enrolled on the 4 day of Oct 1862, at Parkersburg in Co. H 3 Regiment of Val? Volunteers, to serve 
3 years, or during the war, and mustered into service as a Private on the 26 day of Nov 1862, at Parkersburg, in Co. H, 3 
Regiment of Val? Volunteers, to serve 3 years, or during the war.  On the Muster Roll of Co. H of that Regiment dated 
June 30, 1865, he is reported discharged with Co.

No evidence of death.
