John Brown
     John Brown, 91, of Vienna, died July 1, 1994, at Worthington Manor 
Nursing Home.
     He was born at Mercer County, a son of the late Richard and Julia Brown.  
He was retired from Penn Metal, a division of Keene Corp.
     Surviving are two daughters, Ruby J. Hedges and Shirley A. Simmons both 
of Parkersburg:  two sons, Charles B. Brown of Garden Grove, Calif., and 
Arnold E. Brown of Lubeck:  several grandchildren and great-grandchildren; and 
several nieces and nephews.
     He was preceded in death by his wife, Blondena Walters Brown.
     Services 2 p.m. Sunday, Leavitt Funeral Home, Parkersburg, evangelist 
Jerry Caplinger officiating.  Burial Parkersburg Memorial Gardens.  
     Visitation 2-4 and 7-9 p.m. Saturday.
