Roanoke Beacon (Plymouth, NC) - March 28, 1890
The little one-year-old daughter of Mrs. DITMAN, of Parkersburg, W. Va., while 
playing about on the floor, fell into a large lard can full of water, and was 
strangled to death before the mother discovered the daughter.
