parkersburg news 2-5-1945
mrs.rokie viola mercer,39,512 broadeay av,south parkersburg,died suddenly 
yesterday at 10;30 p.m. in the emergercy room of the camden-clark memorial 
hospital.she is survived by two daughters, beyyy and rose,both at home;three 
sons,gleen and jack both at home and clarence mercer of the u.s. navy stationed 
at camp elliott,san diego,calif;mother, mrs.mattie pryor of st. marys,w.va.
the body was removed to the shaver& co, funeral home on
murdoch av. arrangements are incomplete. mercer services, funeral services for 
mrs. rokie viola mercer,39. of 512 broadway av; south parkersburg, who died 
sunday,will be held sunday at 1:30 p.m. at the shaver funeral home,with 
rev.j.w.vance officating. burial will be made in the evergreen cemetery.

Additional Comments:
my mothers name was miss spell on her obituary, it was spelled roxie not rokie
 the odituary said she was buried in evergreen south,in parkersburg wv,they
have no records of her.the certificate of death,has her name,roxie viola mercer
the obituary has it rokie, we would like to find her.and mark her grave,i email
the new paper,and ask them if they though if we put a add in the paper about
this, there would be some one,that could recall were she was put.we did not hear
from them.  she died on the 4 and buried on the 10 th.
