Mr. Adams dead : Shields Adams, aged 63 years, died at the home of his daughter, Mrs. Jones, 30 1/2 Ann St, last night at 8:00. He had been a sufferer of stomach trouble for some time. The deceased is survived by three sons, Ruffner and John of Clarksburg, and Frank of Huntington. Two daughters survive, Mrs. Jones, with whom he resided and Mrs. Rice of Rockport. A brother who resides to the West also survives. No arrangements have been made for the funeral services. The Parkersburg Dispatch-News December 24, 1912 ALLEN, M. R....... M. R. Allen 89, died early yesterday morning at the residence of a daughter, Mrs. Zana Knopp of 2505 Murdoch Av. following an illness of two weeks. He was born in Wood county, the son of the late John and Mary Sewell Allen, and had spent his entire life in the county where he had lived in the Wadesville community for several years. Survivors include, one son, John M Allen of Parkersburg; three daughters, Mrs. Knopp at whose home he died, Mrs Clara Tice, and Mrs Nina Mackey, all of Parkersburg. 17 grandchildren and 20 great grandchildren. Ambler at Two Mile hill on the Elizabeth Pike yesterday morning. She was born and reared in Wirt county and for the past several years had made her home with her daughter. She was also preceeded in death by two sons and one daughter. E. R. Wilson of Elizabeth, a brother and Mrs. W. R. Busch of this city also survive. Death was believed to have resulted from a paralytic stroke. Mr. Bolen was born in Virginia but had resided in Wood county for the past 40 years. He was a member of the Baptist church. Surviving are three brothers; Edward F. of Keyser, WV, Jesse N. of Front Royal, Virginia, and Charles C. of Luray, Virginia; and two sisters, Mrs. Ella B. The funeral of the late Jesse T. Boone occurred Sunday morning at 10:30 o'clock at Red Hill; being conducted by Rev. G. H. Devol and Rev. E. H. Waters. The obsequies were attended by a number of local people. The death of Mr. Boone was due to old age, he being seventy-six years old when the end came.
