Daughter of Late Governor White Succumbs at Home Here. Miss Grace R. White, daughter of the late Governor Albert B. White and Mrs. White, and esteemed resident of this city, died this morning about 3 o'clock at her home, 1040 Murdoch Avenue. She had been ill for sometime. Miss White, a member of one of the city's most prominent and respected families was a life-long resident of Parkersburg. She was born and reared here, and was educated at National Park seminary, Washington D.C. She was a member of Trinity Episcopl church and an honorary member of the Junior League. Her father, former governor of West Virginia, and newspaper publisher and business man in Parkersburg for many years, died at his home here, July 3, 1941. She is survived by her mother, Mrs. Agnes Ward White, of the family home; two sisters and one brother, Mrs. W. H. Wolfe, Mrs. Harry O. Hiteshew and Ward E. Born May 18, 1871 in Pennsboro, W.Va. son of the late Thomas and Amelia Peck Wilson. On May 9, 1895 he married Gertrude Taylor who died Feb. 12, 1946. He spent his early life in W.Va. and came to Marietta, Ohio in 1946 where he made his home with his daughter, Mrs. Guy Lauer of Holly St. He was a cement contractor and attended the United Brethren Church at Pennsboro. In addition to his daughter, he is survived by another daughter, Mrs. Joseph J. Fratantaro of Philadelphia, Pa; six grandchildren, 15 great grandchildren and several nieces and nephews. Funeral services will be held Thursday at 1 p.m. at the Harold Hadley Funeral Home.
