Interment in Masonic Cemetery. Born Jan. 29, 1861 in Voitsburg Austria. Came to US April 1913 to Charleroi PA. Came to Weston in 1922 and made her home with daughter Mina Pertz. Immediate cause of death was attributed to complications. For a number of years he was employed as a motorman for the Monongahela West Penn Public Service Co. Later he was an employee of The Weirton Steel Co., here until its recent closing. A son of John and Elizabeth GRAVES SHEETS of Bridgeport, WV. Mr. SHEETS is survived by his widow, the former Miss Kathryn MOORE. Four sisters and two brothers also survive. They are: Mrs. W. A. La GRANGE of Columbus, OH; Mrs. Virgie HARRIS of Catawba; Mrs. Florence GOLDEN of 417 Broadway; Mrs. Lulu STEWART of 215 North 26th ST.; Luther SHEETS and Phillip SHEETS, both of Bridgeport, WV. Dolly, county clerk of Pendleton county. The combined ages of these couples totaled 1,418 years, the total ages of the men being 763 years, while the sum of the ages of the women was 655 years. Women were found to marry earlier in life than men, the average age of marriage for the women of Pendleton county being 23.4 years while the average age at which men married in Pendleton county this year was 27.2. The oldest man to apply for a marriage license was 50 years old, and the oldest woman was 49 years of age. The youngest man to desire matrimony was 19, and the youngest woman was 16.
