         CHURCH SITE SELECTED
   At a meeting held here last week, Rev.
Hump Klein and Rev. Gillespie consulted with
the Board of Trustees and selected the parcel
of ground south of the Primary school house,
which was given by the Lincoln Land co. This
is a good central location. As soon as a 
reasonable effort is made here for funds for
the building Rev. Gillespie, who has been 
appointed solicitor, will go to Chicago and
St. Louis to get additional help. This can
be more easily done if we do our part here. 
As a means of securing desirable people, the
building of a Methodist Episcopal church 
would mean much to Gillette. The following
year help from our Mission Boarod can be had
also for local support of pastor.
   Subscriptions are being made as follows
One-third when foundation is in; one-third
when roof is on, and one-third when plastering
is done. Very few towns can be found where
there is not a  Methodist church. It is really
the people's church.
