Arthur Edward Carothers was born July 6, 1913 at Converse, Wyoming to Matthew 
Douglas Carothers (May 17, 1867 - December 12, 1928) and Blanche George 
(February 20, 1880 - March 3, 1959), the second of four children. 

His siblings were: George William Carothers (January 15, 1909 - August 10, 
1988); Margaret Eliza Carothers (February 5, 1915 - January 20, 2003) and 
Matthew Douglas Carothers (April 19, 1924 - December 14, 2005).

Family can be found in the 1920 census living at La Bonte, Converse, Wyoming: 
Mathew D Carothers 52, Blanch Carothers 39, George W Carothers 10, Arthur E 
Carothers 6 yrs, 5 mos, Margaret E Carothers 4 yrs 6 mos.

Next found in the 1930 census at Wagon Hound, Converse, Wyoming: Matt D 
Carothers 62, Blanch Carothers 50, George W Carothers 21, Arthur E Carothers 
16, Margaret E Carothers 14, Douglas M Carothers 5. 

Arthur married​ Dorothy Stone on Marc​h 26, 1939 at Wyoming.  The couple
had 3​ or 
4 children. Believe they were living in Montana in December 1941 but moved back 
to Wyoming later. He served as a private in the US Army Air Corps during WWII. 

Arthur Edward Carothers died on November 4, 1972 at Douglas, Converse, Wyoming.

Censuses were transcribed as found without correcting obvious spelling errors.
