Douglas Budget, 6 December 1970
 Funeral services for long time Shawnee rancher, Leonard Haver Gilbert,  were 
held Nov. 28 at Stark-Lapham Chapel with the Rev. Delbert Dick of Wheatland 
 officiating.  Burial was in Douglas Park Cemetery.

He was born in Nebraska, Nov. 24, 1893 and died Nov. 25 at Converse County  
Memorial Hospital at the age of 77.

 He is survived by his wife, Christine Baker Gilbert; a son Marvin of Casper; 
a daughter, Mrs. Virginia (Frank) Orr, Paxton, Nebraska; and a brother, Clyde 
Gilbert, Nyssa, California.
