Newcastle News Journal April 27, 1906
Don Wakeman of this place and Miss Edith Maud Pearson, a popular young lady of 
Sundance, were united in marriage at the home of the bride's parents in 
Sundance on Wednesday, April 25th, Rev. Roberts of the M. E. church officiating.

Mr. Wakeman, who recently entered upon the practice of law at this place, had 
secured the Fawkes cottage in Summit street and the young couple will at once 
begin housekeeping.

We extend to this worthy young couple our heartiest congratulations and best 
wishes and welcome the bride to our city.
