Obituary from the May 15, 1947 "Buffalo Bulletin", Buffalo, Wyoming
	"Resident of This County for Past 53 Years Dies On May 10 at Local 
Hospital; Burial Made in Willow Grove Cemetery.
	Mrs. Minnie Rebecca Fischer, 69, was laid to rest here Tuesday 
afternoon following funeral services conducted at the Wilson Funeral parlors, 
with the Rev. George S. Sloan, pastor of the local Union Congregational church, 
officiating.  Mrs. Fischer passed away at a local hospital on May 10, 1947, 
following an illness, which kept her confined to her bed for six weeks.
	Mrs. Albert Brunner sang two solos, "Beautiful Isle of Somewhere" 
and "End of a Perfect Day".  She was accompanied by Miss Betty Wilson. 
Pallbearers were Wilbur Williams, John Williams, John P. Smith, Dr. W. J. 
Knebel, Carl Voiles and William Potts.  Interment was made in Willow Grove 
cemetery.
	Minnie Rebecca King was born to Francis and Rebecca King of July 29, 
1877, Wapello county, Iowa.  She came to Johnson county 53 years ago, and on 
Dec. 5, 1899, she was married to Antone Fischer, who preceded her in death on 
Dec. 19, 1946.  
	Mrs. Fischer is survived by five sons, Leo, John and Robert of Buffalo, 
Carl of South Dakota, and Jack of Colorado Springs, Colo.; one daughter, Mrs. 
Myrtle Carrey of Seattle, Wash.; and one brother, Andrew J. King of Ruesnel, B. 
C., Canada."
