Shoumaker Funeral services for Wiley C. Shoumaker, 84, former Buffalo resident who died Sunday at a hospital in Hardin, Mont., were held Tuesday from Adams Funeral Home Chapel with the Rev. Larry Johnson officiating Burial was in Willow Grove cemetery. Friends may if they wish, make memorial donations to the Cancer Fund in care of the Funeral Home. Born on March 17, 1880 in Jefferson County, N. C., Mr. Shoumaker came to Wyoming in 1909. He worked on various ranches in Johnson and Sheridan counties and was foreman at the Cross H Ranch from 1928 to 1937 when he moved to Montana. He ranched at Wyola, Mont., from 1937 until 1970 and had made his home at Lodge Grass until shortly before his death. He is survived by three sons, Keith of Buffalo, Dick of Polson, Mont., and Wiley of California; two daughters, Marietta Gripp of Bozeman, Mont., and Wilma Van Pelt of California; eight grandchildren and eight great-grandchildren. He was preceded in death by three wives, Eula Coleman, Evelyn Cochran and Mildred Murdock, his parents, four brothers and one sister. Serving as pallbearers were Charles Kershner, B. H. Turk, James M. Francis, Wilbur Robbins, Don Hall and Guil Fox.
