Frank and Rebecca King married on Feb. 12, 1854 in Wapello County, Iowa.  They 
appear in the 1860 census in Wapello County; the 1870 census in Brown County, 
Kansas adn the 1880 census in Jefferson County, Nebraska. Kansas land office 
records show Francis M. King homesteading on April 21, 1885 and proving the 
land on May 31, 1888.  By 1895, King appears to have left the state as he does 
not appear in the 1895 census.  Their daughter, Ellen, is in Wyoming by 1890 
and she and sister Pheobe both marry in Johnson County in 1895.  In 1900 the 
census show Frank and Rebecca in Buffalo.  Rebecca appears as a widow in 
Buffalo in the 1910 census.
