The Atlanta Semi-Weekly Journal, Atlanta, GA. November 21, 1913
Cheyenne, Wyo., Nov. 20 -- A motion to quash the indictments against Lieutenant 
Joseph L. Weir, U. S. A., and his wife, Mildred de Armond Weir, was denied and 
the defendants were placed on trial today.  The officer and his wife are 
charged with the theft of gowns from Mrs. J. S. Cecil, at Fort Mackenzie, Wyo.
