PROBATION GRANTED IN POST OFFICE CASE
  CHEYENNE, Wyo., May 16.-(AP) Mrs. Sarah 
Crocker, 50, formerly the assistant post-
master at Columbine, north of Casper, was
sentenced to 18 months in prison and imme-
diately admitted to probation when she 
pleaded guilty in federal district court
today to embezzlement of approximately
$500 in postal funds.
   John C. Pickett assistant U. S.  district
attorney, said Mrs. Crocker's accounts had
been balanced through re-payment of the
money before the audit by postal inspectors.
